Northern Mockingbird
Mimus polyglottos
Synopsis: The atlas project provided Oregon's first well-documented nesting record (Oregon Birds 26:155-156), although the species may have bred near Silver Lake in 1983 and Medford in 1994. This species has been reported sporadically from around towns and ranches throughout the state, especially during the spring, but many of the reports are probably of unmated (non- breeding) individuals.
